Colorful Umbrellas in a blue sky

Changes changes

I will be posting less on Twitter. I’m making this change for several reasons–one being I am unsure of the stability of the platform. If you don’t use Twitter, then, well, all is as it should be and nothing much will change.

Okay, I lied. A little will change. I plan to blog regularly, starting weekly, and maybe ramping up from there. So if you follow me here, heck, we’ll be seeing more of each other!

Here are some quick updates:

Writing: I am closing in on the end of WAYWARD SKY. I’m hoping to lob it at my ever-patient copy editor by the 11th. Yay!

Knitting: I may have wrestled into submission the winter hat I was trying to make. Is it perfect? Oh, dear dogs, no. If it were a gift for a friend, I’d rip it out and try again. But it’s for ME! And I don’t mind the inperfections. (I am also lazy).

Life Stuff: We had our first wet, rainy, windy storm of the year, and the gray skies and bluster make this Oregon girl very happy.

We have new crows in the yard which we are trying to train to come out of the trees to our call. They’re cautiously learning the ropes, while the blue jays–clever little opportunists that they are–gladly dive bomb as soon as they hear our “crow” call. With the squirrels getting in on the action, it’s quite a show every morning.

Untill next time! Happy reading!
