The Un-Hermit

Autumn is in full swing here at my house. We’ve had a good show of snow, rain, hail, wind, thunder, and skies so crisp and blue, I want to bite off a corner to see if it melts in my mouth. I don’t know why, but this weather, this season, has nudged me out of the hermit mode I’ve been in for so long.

Not that I’m going to go around actually seeing a lot of people or doing a lot of things, but I have signed up for a few zoom writing sessions with fellow authors (thank you, Eric Witchey, and Nina Kiriki Hoffman), made an actual honest-to-goodness lunch date, and am even thinking of trying out a local movie theater soon.

I’m here on the blog too, and intend to stick with it weekly, and more than weekly. Part of that is I’m not going to be on Twitter (though you can still find me on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube). Part of it is I like this chonky little check-in space where I can chat with y’all and answer questions if you have them.

Speaking of questions, I’ve had a few about my books/series. I’ll answer them as best I can on Friday’s blog. If you have any questions you’d like to throw at me, have at it in the comments below. 🙂

**squirrel credit to Russ Monk, who snapped a shot of this critter right before it turned upside down to eat the sunflower seeds.
