Thanksgiving Plan

Due to ever-shifting family schedules, we don’t always have the big Thanksgiving meal on Thursday. This year we’ll be having our meal on Saturday.

What’s planned?

Turkey, ham, plant-based roast, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, yams. We’ll have canned cranberry sauce, orange cranberry relish, roasted brussel sprouts, and bread with homemade jams. Dessert type things will include cranberry cream cheese jello, lemon jello with whipped cream, pumpkin pie, chocolate cream cheese brownies, and a fruit topped cheese cake.

I won’t be the only person cooking all this deliciousness (husband, friend, and adult kids all bring something to the table) so the planning isn’t as hectic as it might sound.

My mouth is watering just thinking about it! I love the big meal, and the chance to slow down and catch up. Plus, we’ll enjoy the leftovers for several days.

If you are celebrating the holiday Thursday, or any time really, Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Hope your Thanksgiving was everything you wished! We had a nice one, but it was hectic as I was the only cook. I’m signed up to your NL and just want to say I love all the stuffed animals you have been making. They are so cute!!
