New Year is Here

Happy 2022 to you all! I hope your year has been gentle so far.

We Monks made it through the holidays with fair health and happy hearts. It was, honestly, a wonderful little season with family and snow (and sled races) and twinkly lights.

If you are subscribed to my newsletter (and if not, may I invitite you to give it a try?) you might have noticed there was no December issue, and therefore no December knit toy to be given away. I plan to get the newsletter out in January with a new knit toy, so look for that near the end of the month.

Writing news: I’ve finished the first draft of the short novel which will be included in the DIRTY DEEDS 2 collection. It stars Erica “Ricky” Vargas, the Crossroads from my Wayward Souls series (which is connected to my Ordinary Magic series). Get ready for a fun, magic-filled adventure involving Fate’s stolen coins, a swamp siren, and a very tricky dryad-wizard named Cardamom Oak.

If that sounds like something you’d like to check out, pre-order right here:

When the going gets tough, the tough get their hands dirty.

Join NY Times bestselling authors Faith Hunter and Jennifer Estep along with USA Today bestselling authors R.J. Blain, Diana Pharaoh Francis, and Devon Monk on a brand-new romp through magical worlds where the damsels bring the distress, what can go wrong will go wrong, and nothing is as it seems.

Adventure with Eli Younger, Liz Everhart, and Brute in the thrilling world of Jane Yellowrock. Face off against old gods and lost souls at a magical crossroads on Route 66. Become entangled in Ashland’s dark, deadly web with side characters from the Elemental Assassin series. Return to the irreverent world of Beck Wyatt, where disaster waits around every corner and cheesecake makes it all worthwhile. And finally, meet up with the Quinns and friends in the zany world of the Magical Romantic Comedy (with a body count) series.

In this collection of all-new urban fantasy and paranormal stories, the gloves are off and simply surviving might just be the dirtiest, most difficult deed of all.

I’m sure you get tired of answering this but is there any chance you might finish the Age if Steam series? I really enjoyed the characters and the story…and I’m not a huge steampunk reader but I loved this series
