What’s Up

2025 has been an interesting year for me writing-wise. I’ve written two books in a new series, neither of which are released yet. One of those books just needs a final pass and is ready to go, the other needs a heavy revision, copy edits, and final pass.

Am I currently working on either of those books? No. No, I am not. I am working on WAYWARD GODS, book 5 in the Souls of the Road series. It’s been slow going so far. Some of that comes from it being the penultimate book in the series, some of it comes from me being very busy with all the things that make life lifey.

And yet I am planning on releasing WAYWARD GODS this year. Which means I better figure out how to get a lot more words written really quickly. 🙂

You know what surprised me about WAYWARD GODS so far? Turns out there are deities known as lost gods. There were no lost gods in the outline of the book. There were no lost gods in the series. But the story took a turn and, yup. We got lost gods. I’m excited to see what kind of trouble they bring to the table.

So I’ll be over here working on that for a bit. I’ll let you know how it goes.
