I just finished reading Magic Without Mercy and it is one of the best books I’v read! The ending was so exciting and i can’t wait for the next book!!
Didn’t have much time to read lately but I finally started on MWM and though I just got past the Well of Life I’m already loving it. Tension is building up nicely and Shame is getting ever more loveable. I usually would complain about you hurting him that much but he suffers so nicely. And you gotta love a guy with a masochistic streak a mile wide especially when he’s a “bad boy” who can dish out just as much as he can take.
Ok, enough of the Shamus love – most of us share it anyway *G* It’s not like I don’t like the others as well (especially Terric and Hayden). And Allie got at least 10 points extra for killing Bartholomew. With that guy it was hate at first read which means you do slimeballs very well too.
I just wish there was more than just 9 books in this series. On the other hand I did enjoy Dead Iron a lot too and can’t wait to get my hands on Tin Swift. Always had a weak spot for wolves *sigh* Besides it will give you time to start on your new Shamus Flynn series, hehe. I do hope you have plans for that!
Now excuse me while I keep reading till my eyeballs start itching from the inside. And after that I probably start all over again from the beginning *G*
I couldn’t put it down! When is the next one? What’s it called? Must have more! Write more books!Put them in hardback and I’ll buy them again! Now stop reading this stuff and write more books!
I have listened to all the audiobooks except Magic without Mercy. It is not available yet. I love the series! I have to say it is my favorite and I have listened to many others. I need more to listen to on my 2hr commute to and from work! more more more Please

Done and done!! Can’t wait to get it in audio, even tough I bought all the available books in both audio and Kindle versions.
I’ve listened to all books available in audio twice and read them too, also twice..(yes, I bought both kindle and audio versions of all available and now I am twitching for more. I catch myself thinking of Shame and Terric’s fate as well as how Devon is going to close all the loose ends by this one last book. We need a solution for Kevin and Violet’s situation (poor Kevin! did he get divorced? or just separated from the wife who was taking him to the “poor house”?
Will Daniel come to terms with the fact he can’t be with Violet anymore? Is he going to finally let go or haunt Allie forever?
I hope that after this book #9 Devon will write more along the lines of this series. It is an awesome concept and the delivery just fantastic! Grabbed me from the start and I just can’t let go. Damn! November can’t get here soon enough!

Thanks for the reply. I am very disappointed now as I love your books. Being a very busy mother/teacher/knitter and spinner I read via audio 100% of the time now.

Devon I am a college librarian and have just finished reading all of the Allie Beckstrom series which my 30 yr old daughter told me about. I loved them one and all BUT cant buy them for our school library because of the very small amount of sex you describe. is there any chance of there being a toned down teenage version out????? the story line is superb and wouldnt be ruined by less descriptive sex scenes (even though I had no problem with them). please please think on this as the kids would love this series. I can across this series on audible.com. It was something different and delightful to listens to.
I’m wondering when are the rest of the Allie Beckstrom series will be on audio books? I would love to read the book but I don’t have the time. I can see that this has been an issue with your fans almost a year now. What can we do to get this done? Who can we write to? Can we have the same narrator “Emily Durante”?
