Good News for Ordinary

First, some good news: I plan to blog more regularly, hopefully weekly, so you’ll be getting a few more updates on my writing projects, knitting, and what have you. I’ve been pretty quiet here on the old blog lately, and I thought it was time to shake things up.

Which brings me to how my writing projects are going.

In a word, great! The third book in the Ordinary Magic series, GODS AND ENDS is out and it got a 4.5 star, Top Pick review over at RT Book Reviews! Here’s a link to the lovely review:

I’ve had a few people ask me if there will be more Ordinary Magic books. I am happy to say, yes! But first, there’s a little MORE good news.

ROCK CANDY, an Ordinary Magic story (shorter than a novel, longer than a short story) will be out this October. It is told from the youngest sister, Jean’s point of view and will be a Halloween themed story involving zombie gnomes, a secret cabal, and Hogan—the baker Jean’s been dating—who has some secrets of his own.

Then PAPER STARS, an Ordinary Magic story (shorter than a novel, longer than a short story) from Delaney’s point of view will be out in late November. It is a Christmas themed story about wishes and love and the power of memories and words and trust. Yes, Ryder is in it. Also: a dragon.

Once January rolls around, I’ll have one more Ordinary Magic story, SCISSOR KISSES ready for your reading pleasure. This will be from the middle sister, Myra’s point of view, and will be a Valentine’s Day story involving old spells, new tricks, and a certain demon who showed up in GODS AND ENDS.

I hope to have a new Ordinary Magic full-length book out in the summer of 2018.

So, yes. One could even say there is a LOT of Ordinary Magic right around the corner.

And that, I hope, is pretty darn good news. 🙂
