Day Off!

Today is my first day off in over a month.  Yay, day off!

What am I doing?  Well, so far, I’ve paid bills, done laundry, cleaned the kitchen….

…it is possible I need more practice at this “day off” thing. 😉

STONE COLD, book #2 of the Broken Magic series (urban fantasy spinoff of the Allie Beckstrom books) is RE-revised.

I finished the actual revision on Wednesday.  Since my deadline wasn’t until the 3rd, I decided to print the book and give it a “quick read through” on paper, since errors are easier for me to spot in hard copy.

*rolls eyes*

First page, I decided there needed to be one extra word.  Second page, I cleaned up a couple lines.  Third page, I added a little more.  By the fourth page, I was cutting out paragraphs, rearranging sentences and adding in scenes.

So much for “quick”.  But hey, it just took me 4 days to do the Re-Revision, and I think it’s a much stronger book for that last pass.  We shall see, won’t we, dear readers?  🙂

Now, I must investigate this “day off” thing.  Perhaps it should involve fancy coffee and cookies.
