Knitting, Baby Shower Edition

My friend is having a baby and said hand made gifts were welcome at her shower.  So I did some knitting!

First, the front of the blanket:

And now the material for the back…

Together…

And a little something else for fun:

Pretty cunning, dontcha think?

Pattern Details:

I LOVE the little Jayne hat!! That’s what I thought it was when I saw it. And the quilt is adorable too – is the fabric “Babar”? You’re rocking the yarn, lady!

      Emma,

Just click on the title in the post “Union Jack Pattern: Debbie Bliss” and it should take you to the web page for the pattern.

      Happy knitting! 🙂

That link just brings you to ‘UNION JACK CUSHIONS’ is that the same pattern you can use for making a blanket?
I’m suppose to find a pattern for someone else to make, I’m not too sure what to be looking for exactly! 🙂

Oh, sorry to be confusing. Yes, I used the cushion pattern with bulky yarn on #11 (US) needles. I added 4 rows at the bottom, and 4 stitches before and after the pattern and 4 rows at the top to “frame” the flag in blue.

          Hope that helps!
          🙂
