2010’s Knit & Purl

I don’t keep very good track of what I knit.  I might need to start a knitting journal, or maybe just try to post most of my projects here.

Luckily, (or maybe not) I didn’t have a lot of extra time in 2010 to knit, so there weren’t that many projects to keep track of.  I did, however manage to knit a thing or two, and I still have a couple projects on the needles.*

Here’s what I got done:

Stone the Gargoyle. Stone was inspired by the gargoyle in the Allie Beckstrom books. I not only knit him, I wrote the pattern for him.
The Chicken hat. Knit for my sister's trip to visit family in Alaska, this is a modified version of Audrey Ritchie's Baby Peep Hat
Steampunk gloves modified from Zehava Jacob's Leela pattern available on Ravelry.
The Robin Hood Cloche hat, pattern by Grace Akhrem
A four foot long stocking hat
Scott Pilgrim Hat by Lulu Bee
For comparison, here's the movie Scott Pilgrim vs. the World & the hat Scott wore

*yes, I still have the Tardis toilet paper cozy on needles.  Just one side and the top to finish.  Hopefully soon! 🙂

I absolutely love Stone. I wish I knew how to knit, I’d make my own. I’ve recently found your series and am anxiously waiting April. Stone has to be my favorite. Too cute!

OMG I love stone as well!! Do you make him available for purchase at all? He is just too cute for words! I would LOVE to have him sitting next to me while reading your next book! He’s soo cute!
