Fa-lala-la-la

If you could see my office, you would faint dead away, *faint*, I say!

I have wrapped and unwrapped gifts sprawled out everywhere, half-completed holiday knitting projects crammed in the corners, and two printed stacks of paper (Dead Iron revisions) fighting for desk space with glittery cards (why-o-why did I buy glittery cards?!) plus a bazillion notes, packing supplies, ribbons, coffee cups, and to-do lists (and odd little notes like, “kitswee”=Chinook lingo for “money”) everywhere!

It. Is. Awesome!

Let’s do a quick update:

Proofs for MAGIC ON THE HUNT have been turned in.

Cover input/blurb/title etc., for Allie Beckstrom book #7 (I haven’t gotten the go-ahead on the title yet, so can’t share) have been turned in.

Revisions on DEAD IRON have gone through first pass & first readers.  Some adjustments, and I should have this baby ready to send to my editor next week.

Almost all the Christmas gifts have been bought and wrapped, though there are at least half a dozen that haven’t arrived, and one seller on ebay who is dragging his feet on the gift to Child Eldest, which sucks.  I have done zero Christmas baking.  I see fudge, cookies, and toffee in my near future.

The house will need a hard scrubbin’ to fit the 36 or so family members who show up for the big X-mas Morning Present Unwrapping Debacle, and I’ll need to do one more grocery run.  But all-in-all, I am very content with life, and all that entails right now.

And now for something completely different: Something On My Desk:
